Make It Stand Out.

Kelsey and Jordan’s wedding was one of those rare days that felt like a true reflection of who they are.

From the start, it was clear they weren’t interested in sticking to the typical wedding script; no bridal party, no ring exchange, no champagne toast, no bouquet toss, and not even a cake. Instead, they did exactly what they wanted without feeling pressured by traditions. They did hand scooped and served ice cream, lotto scratcher favors at each seat, a painted tumbleweed chandelier over the dance floor and a saloon after-party that kept the energy going well into the night.

Kelsey looked stunning in a handmade cotton silk taffeta gown from BHDL, one of those dresses that feels like it was meant just for her. She paired it with custom pink and orange cowgirl boots by Wandering Coyote, and later changed into a sheer floor-length pink dress with bold puff sleeves by Mr. Larkin. She was glowing in both looks, and they each felt true to her and who she is.

Jordan wore a custom teal suit from Reigner, complete with western piping and just a hint of bell bottom, it was so fun and full of personality.

His bolo tie had a pink heart, and Kelsey’s gold bubble heart earrings had tiny tassels. Even their accessories told a story. Everything about the day, from the wardrobe to the smallest details, felt like a true celebration of them.

One of the most memorable moments was watching their first dance unfold completely unplanned this way, right on the lodge porch under the bulb lighting.

“Everyone always says their wedding day was a blur, but for me it’s in sharp focus. I can close my eyes and see Jordan reaching his hand out to me for a dance, I can feel the soft ranunculus from my bouquet between my fingertips, smell the prime rib we served at dinner. It was a thoroughly envisioned, planned and executed event…” - Kelsey

The day was perfect and I left feeling not only proud to have been part of it, but genuinely inspired. I’ll never forget watching Kelsey and Jordan dance in the golden hour, or watching Jordan help change his wife’s shoes for the reception, all while looking so in love and EXCITED for their future together.
